DeltaV Space Technologies Inc. operates in space technologies and carries explicitly out R&D activities in chemical rocket propulsion. DeltaV’s suborbital sounding rocket system (SORS), which is one of the most capable hybrid-sounding rocket systems in the world, has been successfully launched many times and is currently ready for commercial operations. Our primary goal is to develop paradigm-shifting novel rocket propulsion technologies to enable the new-space industry.
A turbopump is a critical component used in liquid-fueled rocket engines required for access to space. The function of it is to deliver fuel and oxidizer to the combustion chamber at high pressure. This system consists of pumps driven by a turbine, drawing fuel and oxidizer from the tanks and feeding them into the combustion chamber to achieve the high flow rates required by the rocket engine. With the cryogenic turbopump developed by DeltaV—the first and only of its kind in Türkiye—a significant technological milestone has been achieved for development of rocket engines that are essential to independent space access.
DeltaV is developing a liquid-propellant rocket engine with 2 kN thrust for use in space missions. The engine utilizes an innovative, non-toxic fuel and oxidizer combination that is storable for extended periods in space conditions. The combustion chamber is cooled using a regenerative liquid cooling method, enabling prolonged burn durations. With its multiple ignition capability, the engine can support a variety of space missions, including orbit transfer, orbit raising, upper-stage propulsion, and lander operations.
DeltaV's second-stage hybrid rocket system, developed with its new generation original internal ballistic technology, can successfully deliver the payload it carries to Earth orbit or further. This system plays a critical role in the precise placement of payloads in orbit and overall mission success and is one of the determining factors in the safe completion of space missions. In addition, thanks to the second-stage system, flights can be performed in the hypersonic speed regime. This system, which is of critical importance in both civil and military applications, is vital for the development and verification of hypersonic technologies.
The SAGM-GÖKTAN system is a system with high precision strike capability from land to land, which was created by integrating the air-launched guided munitions designed by our business partner into a cost-effective, domestic and sustainable hybrid propulsion system. The system, which has the capacity to hit targets with high precision at long range, was designed with the aim of 24/7 operational availability in all weather conditions. It can engage multiple targets thanks to its multiple engagement capability, especially in operations requiring wide area control. SAGM-GÖKTAN offers an effective, reliable and flexible solution for the needs of modern armed forces.
The Hybrid Propulsion System (HPS) is an innovative rocket technology being designed for the Moon Landing Mission within the scope of the Moon Research Program (AYAP), which is carried out in collaboration with the Turkish Space Agency (TUA). Standing out as the world's first hybrid rocket system to be used in orbital operations, HPS represents a critical component of Turkey’s vision to reach the Moon. HPS leverages hybrid propulsion technology that combines the advantages of solid and liquid propellants to offer a cost-effective and safe space propulsion infrastructure. Aligned with this vision, HPS aims to strengthen Türkiye’s independence in space technologies, paving the way for a stronger presence in the global space arena.
The Hydrogen Peroxide Propulsion System is a technology developed to provide an effective, reliable, and sustainable solution for the maneuvering and positioning needs of satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). This innovative propulsion system not only extends the operational lifespan of satellites but also enhances their maneuverability, thereby maximizing mission flexibility. At the core of the system lies high-purity hydrogen peroxide, used as a monopropellant. As a green propulsion solution, it is a strong candidate for future space missions. The system is suitable for both commercial and defense satellite, and directly contributes to Türkiye’s vision of strengthening its independence and technological competence in the field of space.
